Design Inspiration With Help from Lillian August

One fun design trend I have found very useful is matching your outfit and accessories to fabric! By far one of my favorite designers is Lillian August, who designs for Hickory White. Thus, I was able to pair her pieces with some of the clothes and accessories I have on, even my shoes. New In-Store Section and Items

We have a new section in the storeroom with some very interesting pieces!   First, we have new furniture which, by design, are sectionals that you can recreate in many different layouts.  These pieces are perfect for framing a room or offering additional seating, such as for a media room.  You can also try putting them at various angles to add space and balance. We also have new prints, such as my personal favorite, "The Velveteen Rabbit." These offer a positive, inspirational message that are especially useful for good mornings.    Watch the Video Here:

The Use of Symmetry in Design

Although, some people are not secure in their knowledge of symmetry, perspective is instinctual.  It is when you simply know that a room seems "off" or unbalanced. Consider, for example, when you come across a space that has a blank wall against a foreground of furniture and decor.
